The American Academy of Poets is encouraging people to take lines from poems they love and project them onto the world… to scrawl, ink, stamp, paint, stitch verses onto pebbles, leaves, pavement, cloth, skin. The creative opportunities are endless.
I’ve really enjoyed scanning through these photos. There’s something really wonderful about seeing poems I’ve always enjoyed in a different context,or being led to new discoveries based only on a few, carefully chosen words.
